Car sharing is going a step further with Cadillac’s luxury Book service. For a steady, monthly fee of $1,500 – and a $500 set up fee – the car maker puts you in a new car as often as your heart desires. No need to worry about license, mileage, maintenance and insurance : the price of it all is included within the monthly installment. And because the service is provided month by month, customers who wish to stop receiving the service – but who would – can choose to do so at any convenient moment.
The concierge service will pick up and drop off the vehicle reserved via the app at any location, meaning that users on the go have the option of dropping say an XT5 at the airport and picking up a CT6 upon arrival. The service currently available only in New York City puts your choice of any Premium trim Cadillac CT6, CTS-V, ATS-V, Escalade and XT5 in your driveway. Just like GM’s Maven service, however, we can expect to see the reach of the service grow.
