2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

Following in the footsteps of the Chevrolet Silverado EV and Blazer EV, the Equinox EV joins the fray with an affordable starting MSRP of $35,000 for the front-wheel drive 1LT trim.

Similar in design language to its aforementioned siblings the front fascia features the signature ultra-thin LED signature light bar, athletic body lines and big 19-inch wheels (up to 21 inch offered). For extra visual flair, a contrast two-tone roof is optional as well.

Multiple drivetrain and powertrain configurations are available providing up to 290 horsepower and 480 kilometres of range on a single charge, depending on the model. A fall 2023 launch is anticipated.

One of the first to arrive will be the Wrangler-esque Recon, built for the off-road packing the Selec-Terrain traction management system, underbody protection, tow hooks, all-terrain tires and removable doors and glass. A zero-emissions version of the Wagoneer is also going to hit showrooms, giving drivers a more luxurious experience with 600 horsepower and nearly 650 kilometres of travel distance on a full battery.

Jeep expects EVs to represent 50 per cent of sales in the U.S., and 100 per cent in Europe, by 2030.

Lincoln Corsair ActiveGlide

The Lincoln Corsair receives a mid-cycle update introducing the next-generation ActiveGlide 1.2 system permitting true handsfree driving on select highways at speeds up to 129 km/h.

Some of its functions include one-touch autonomous lane-change, automatic braking while entering sharp turns and lane repositioning that keeps the compact luxury crossover at a comfortable distance away from other vehicles in adjacent lanes.

Aesthetically, the refresh incorporates a larger grille, new wing-shaped daytime running lights and inside, a larger 13.2-inch infotainment display. The 2023 Lincoln Corsair is built in Louisville, Kentucky and is available to order now.
