Nissan has announced the Canadian pricing for the 2017 Nissan Leaf, which is now on sale at dealers across the country at certified dealers.
The Leaf comes in three trims — S, SV and SL — and all three now come with the 30 kWh battery. Previously, that battery was only on the SV and SL trims.
Pricing for the S starts at $33,998, with the SV at $37,398 and the SL at $40,548. Add to that the $1,999 destination and handling charge.
Of course, the final price you will pay will depend on where you live since various jurisdictions in Canada offer rebates on the purchase of an electric vehicle.
The 2017 Leaf has an average range of 172 kilometres. The 80 kW AC synchronous motor generates 107 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque for the Leaf.
All trims include standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system and RearView Monitor. Nissan’s advanced Around View Monitor4 and a Bose premium audio system are standard on the SL grade.
The Leaf SV and SL include standard NissanConnectSM with Navigation — featuring a 7.0-inch colour display with multi-touch control, HD radio and Nissan Voice Recognition for navigation and audio.
