Adopting the upright front end and signature C-Clamp LED daytime running lights seen on stablemates like Maverick and F-Series, additional slick exterior elements include wider fender arches with functional vents, integrated Box Side Step behind the rear tires, matching C-Clamp taillamps and RANGER text stamped across the redesigned tailgate doubling as a workbench. A 2.3-litre EcoBoost mill is standard, but consumers may upgrade to the 315-horsepower 2.7-litre offering shared by the F-150 and Bronco.

A high-performance Raptor version is joining the lineup as well boasting an extra-tough purpose-built suspension, twin-turbo powertrain producing 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, aggressive 33-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain KO3 tires mounted to 17-inch wheels and more.

The bright main colour is complemented by 18-inch gloss black wheels and other black details.

Sales begin in the spring, starting at $78,180 MSRP.

Range Rover SV Bespoke

Customers purchasing Range Rover Autobiography and SV models now have access to a new SV Bespoke commissioning service that provides enhanced levels of personalization and refinement.

A seven-step creation process, administered in-person at the SV Bespoke Commissioning Suite in the UK and select global retailers or online, allows people to select from a wide range of paint options, materials and interior/exterior finishes. Even 24ct gold plating for the hood and tailgate script is an option.

Each completed vehicle is unique to the creator, though the Range Rover Design team can help curate packages as well.

INEOS Grenadier

INEOS may not be a household name yet, but that may change with the Canadian and U.S. release of the U.K.-based automaker’s Grenadier.

The modern spiritual successor to the original Land Rover Defender is a boxy permanent-four-wheel-drive 4X4 built on a ladder-frame chassis and running a BMW 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six motor mated to a ZF eight-speed transmission. Highly customizable, up to three locking differentials may be added, among many other features. The utilitarian cabin still offers some creature comforts like a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-enabled stereo and plenty of USB and 12-volt sockets.

In addition to the standard vehicle there are two more trim levels will be sold: Trailmaster and Fieldmaster, the former marketed towards extreme off-roaders while the latter combines style and performance. All are assembled in France, and orders open May 31 via the website.
