Now that Genesis is in its successful sixth year, a pre-owned vehicle program providing exceptional value for slightly used models is on the way.
All product sold through the program must be six years or newer, have less than 120 kilometres on the odometer and undergo a 191-point inspection. Buyers are in-turn provided with a six-year, 120,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty (may be extended up to 10 years and 200,000, respectively), three-month subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio, 24/7 roadside assistance and a detailed CARFAX history report.
What happens if customers change their mind? The luxury Korean brand offers a 10-day/1,000-kilometre complimentary vehicle exchange.
Polestar 2 BST Edition 270
Polestar has always embodied performance DNA hence the BST edition 270 makes perfect sense. Billed as the company’s “most dynamic electric driver’s car yet” only 270 limited edition units are going to be manufactured with 20 earmarked for Canada.
The two electric motors and 78-kilowatt-hour battery have been tuned to deliver 476 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. The ride height is 25 millimetres lower, and the chassis sits on Öhlins 2-way that are adjustable dampers adjustable via auxiliary adjustment chambers mounted under the hood. Other highlights include a front strut bar, 20 per cent stiffer springs and new black 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by those found on the Polestar 1.
This Polestar 2 is sprayed in either Thunder or Snow paint, and customers may order a matte black body stripe or full-body Battleship Gray satin wrap. Production begins in mid-2022.
2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition
To celebrate an incredible 75 years of F-Series trucks, Ford is launching the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition paying homage to the two-tone vehicles of the 1970s and 80s.
Available on XLT trims, the special model reinterprets the classic A-B-A paint pattern where the same colour is used on the roof and pillars as well as the lower door and body, with a contrasting shade in-between. The interior features a slate grey and black theme and a white “75 Years” logo in the corner of the windshield and on the centre console.
Below are the five options. Orders begin in July.

- Atlas Blue midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black

Bulletproof Land Cruiser
Ever wanted to own a bulletproof Land Cruiser 300? Now you can as security specialists INKAS have just added the model to its lineup following it successfully securing VPAM VR7 ballistic and ERV2010 blast certifications, which is a German-developed standardization for the armored vehicle industry.
This fortified Toyota is no joke — there’s of course protective glass, a blast plate underneath the floor, heavy duty wheels and brakes, run-flat tires and even an overhead escape hatch. In tests, the special SUV withstood over 780 rounds of ammunition from various calibre firearms, 10 grenades, two land minds and 15-kilograms of TNT.
Other highlights include a siren, PA system, automatic engine fire suppression system, heated windshield and more.
2023 Subaru Ascent
Subaru’s three-row SUV receives a refresh for 2023 wearing a taller blacked-out grille, restyled beak-like LED headlights and a bumper featuring integrated air ducts designed to smoothen airflow under the crossover. The former conventional taillights have been swapped out for Konoji (C-shaped) units.
Also debuting is the latest version of EyeSight Driver Assist technology that is further streamlined and performs better due to a wider field of view and updated software. Pedestrians and bicycles can be spotted sooner upon entering an intersection at low speed. If no action is taken, the new autonomous emergency steering kicks in to help steer the vehicle to safety when travelling less than 80 km/h.
Still providing propulsion is the 260-horsepower 2.4-litre turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine mated to a CVT transmission.
