This Week In Trucks: Volume 13

2023 Subaru Outback

Subaru has unveiled the refreshed 2023 Outback debuting a new front fascia and upgraded tech, along with an extra trim level.

The face of the rugged wagon is much more aggressive boasting a bigger grille and sharper headlight housings that bleed onto black protective cladding running all the way down the sides and bottom section of the front bumper. Similarly, the wheel arch cladding takes up a larger portion of the fenders.

Top-of-the-line units gain a wide-angle mono camera supplementing the standard EyeSight driver assist, expanding the field of view so objects can be detected sooner. Finally, the Onyx trim gives the exterior a darkened treatment with 18-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, black badging and other accenting while the exclusive two-tone grey interior features soft-touch all-weather upholstered seats.

Jeep High Altitude 4xe

Tacking on $1,795 to the total price, the 21-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, emblems, roof rails and seven-slot grille all receive a coat of gloss black paint. The affected pieces look especially stunning against the just introduced Hydro Blue Pearl Coat colour also being offered on Trailhawk, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve models.

Orders will be taken for both additions beginning in the second half of 2022.
