The Jailbreak name is back at Dodge as the brand pulls the covers off of yet another variant of the long-lived Durango mid-size SUV. We’ve seen the nomenclature before on one of the seven “Last Call” editions of the Hemi-powered Charger/Challenger and it’s being resurrected as a “full-throttle personalization program for the bad-ass, Hemi-powered, 710 horsepower supercharged beast,” according to Dodge CEO Matt McAlear.
It’s called the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, and while it has a long name, it’s also long on power. That’s 710 hp and 645 pound-feet of supercharged torque, sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
There may be only the single engine choice (and it’s a direct lift from the standard Durango SRT Hellcat), but there are a number of customization options as well; six exterior colours including all-new Green Machine…green; four colour choices for the seatbelts and Brembo brake calipers; six wheel options; six badge colour options and enough standalone options to combine for six million available combinations. Strange, considering they’re only going to sell a select few of these limited-edition trucks, but there you have it. And if that’s not enough for you, there’s a custom colour program – originally launched for 2023’s Challenger Demon 170 — for an even more bespoke truck.
Pricing for the 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak will be announced later this year.
